Hey guys, so today i plan on telling you about everything that happened in the lovely Japan. You would be suprised about how diverse Japan is. It goes from being pretty and delicate to being a vibrant and active city at night. It's stunning to look at.
Anyway, I was pretty hungry and I headed into a small shop on a busy street. Luckily, it wasn't so full. I peered inside and my heart sunk. There was no normal food! It was full of weird foods like canned bread, wasabi beer, basil seed drink, wasp crackers, raw horse meat and fermented soya beans. YUCK! The only nice thing there was cubed watermelon so that had to do. At least it helped quench my thirst too, no way was I going to drink basil seeds. Anyway so after refraining from vomiting in the shop I walked out and walked down the road, enjoying my watermelon.
A bunch of beautifully dressed geisha's walked accross as if strutting down a golden catwalk. Their kimonas shhimmered in the sun. They were stunning. What stunned be the most was how long they must've taken to get dressed and get their makeup done.
After a while of more walking there was a woman handing out infromation leaflets to tourists. I was tempted to ask her questions, but I didn't want to bore her, so I took a look inside of the leaflet. It was filled with information and told me lots about Japan. I learnt that they really like coffee and import roughly 85% of Jamaica's annual coffee production. Also I found out that sumo wrestling is their national sport.
I decided to go to a sushi bar which was very tasty.
Bye for now, Adriana x
